Pat Coval Retirement
March 30, 2021
Lee Industries has announced that Senior Applications Engineer Pat Coval will retire on March 31, 2021. Pat has been with the company for 37 years.
“Pat had an excellent career at Lee Industries,” said company President and CFO/COO Josh Montler. “He was able to combine his engineering expertise with a deep knowledge of the chemistry and physics of food, biopharma and specialty chemical manufacturing to bring enormous value to our customers. While he will be sorely missed, his mentorship of other engineers here will make sure his legacy lives on.”
Pat joined Lee Industries as a Design Engineer in 1983, immediately upon graduating from Penn State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He progressively took on more responsibilities, becoming a Senior Applications Engineer in 1990. Among his many accomplishments, Pat had the lead role in developing process engineering solutions for vacuum/cooling systems and jam and jelly manufacturing systems, an area in which Lee Industries is now considered a world leader.
“Pat has been a key contributor to the growth and success of Lee Industries,” added Montler. “We are so grateful for all he has done for us and wish him the best in his retirement.”
