Bill Spicher Retirement
March 14, 2022
Lee Industries has announced that Bill Spicher, the company’s Sales Manager of Process Systems & Equipment, will retire on March 15, 2022. Bill has been with Lee Industries for over 34 years.
“Bill’s contributions to Lee Industries have been significant,” said company President and Chief Operating Officer Josh Montler. “His engineering expertise is eclipsed only by his understanding of the industries he served, particularly the food and personal care/cosmetic industries. Bill’s priority was always to help Lee customers solve their production challenges the best way possible, and few ever did it better. We will miss him but are so grateful for the knowledge and experience he has passed on to our next generation.”
Bill joined Lee Industries as an Applications Engineer in 1987, immediately upon graduating from the University of Pittsburgh (Main Campus) with a degree in Chemical Engineering. Spicher moved to Senior Applications Engineer in 1998 and to Sales Manager of Process Systems & Equipment in 2019. Among his many accomplishments, Bill will be remembered most for his innovative vessel solutions that made it possible for manufacturers to expand their production and throughput.
“Bill has been a valuable member of the Lee team for a long time,” added Montler. “We thank him for the positive impact he had on our customers, our business and our people. We wish him the very best in his retirement.”
